Sari silk ribbon yarns are created by women in fair trade co-ops
by collecting the remnants of sari silk fabric. This process allows 
under privileged women in rural India to earn a living to help support
their families. The women hand sew and hand dye each piece of ribbon
by hand. By purchasing a product made with this ribbon, you are helping
these women earn money for their family.
